I have a system running win 98 SE that suffered a major
failure apparently...
After trying to locate multiple folders and files I
checked the scandisk log and noticed it had deleted

I'm putting together a new PC. The MoBo has 2 IDE channels, and the PC will
have 2 hard drives and 2 optical drives (1 DVD burner, 1 CDRW burner).
What's the best way to configure the IDE channels? Put both HDs together on

Drive C: HD too small, so need to replace with generic
Type 47 w/ FAT32.

Has Anyone had a problem defragging thier hard drive? I
have a 4gb drive partioned into two drives, C:main drive
and D:system save. The d: drive can defrag fine,but when I
try to defrag the c: drive, it keeps on remapping due to

well until the CD asked for the code number on the COA.  
All this paperwork (and lots of other stuff) has not been

I need files from the 98 S.E. disk after installing an
N.I.C..
I don't have the disks, only Q.R. and enhancement disks.
I searched all disks and drives.

I just installed a cdrw (MSI CR52-M) to my win98se
presario 5457. I put it on secondary slave. Secondary  
master is the original CD-ROM (with DMA enabled). Primary
master contains a 13gig harddrive with DMA enabled.

When I start my computer it's saying Floppy Disc Fail. And
I have to press F1 in order to get in my computer. Can you
