I'm using Win98SE. I just bought a RCA Lyra Jukebox MP3 device that should appear as a 20 GB disk drive on the USB port. It doesn't show up under My Computer. Using the USBVIEW pgm for Win98 it appears to be connected, however. Also

I recieved a windows msg that I was out of space. I looked @ c: drive properties, and it shows that I have 1.9 gig drive and 100 mb left. I have a 10 gig drive. I ran AVG and TrendMicro anti-virus and found no virus.

I am running a 6 yr old Gateway (P2-233) and the primary hard drive seems to be on it's last legs. For a few weeks now, it has been running ScanDisk every time I turn it on and it finds more and more bad sectors each time.

Sometimes a "ghost" drive letter is visible. In some software it is visible as a removable disk, windows can't adress it. I ran FDISK, both present harddisk had only one active partition containing data.
