I just installed a new 40GB HDD to a Compaq Presario
7360. I think it orginally had a 4.x GB HDD (someone just
gave it to me cause the original HDD crashed).
Installed W98...FDisk'd the HDD, with a single partition.

I used fdisk to partition my computer. It is a 10.2G hard
drive. After partitioning was complete my computer only
has a 2.15G hard drive. I went to fdisk and viewed the
fdisk info. It says that there is a 100% of 9767 non-dos

I try to run system tools defrag, with or without disk
error check, it runs for hours without showing any
progress on the % bar. it just seems to be starting over
