I want to boot using the Windows XP Upgrade CD to install
XP on a new Hard Drive. What I read tells me I must modify
the boot path, but how is this done?

Hello, I have misplaced my windows 98 disk keycode, my
system is still installed but I need to re-install it. Is
there any way to recover the keycode from my computer for

I am trying to use fdisk to partition a 5 gig and 6 gig hd
but the program comes up with "Unable to access Drive 3"
when I start it. I have tried fdisk /mbr and that doesn't
help. I have even removed all of the hd's and booted the

How do I set my MP3 player (which is basically a compact

External USB Hard Drive formatted in NTFS is not

Drive detects imminent failure".  I have run Scandisk more
than once.  On the first run it cleared out 4 bad sectors
and on subsequant runs it found no new bad sectors but it

number of DOS programs from Windows 98. Before installing
XP I backed up the Windows 98. I recently restored the 98

I have the original computer and disk but lost the
product key.  I have reformated the hard drive and
discovered that I don't have the product key to reinstall
Windows 98.  Is this number registered anywhere or stored

We installed a second hard drive to our computer.  The
old one will be the slave and the new will be the
master.  When we try to install WIN98, we get so far and
then get a generic installer error.  It says SU99407.
