What is the max hard drive that can be used? Can I
install a use a 80 gig HD?

Morning,
New installment in my ongoing nightmare. Tried to install
a new 60gig HD with no success. Tried using both new and
old (10gig Seagate) drives as master and slave and tried

Does anyone know where to begin to look for diagnostic
software for a Mitsubishi hard drive?  I started with the
Mitsubishi web site but that's like looking for a needle
in a haystack.

 I haven't been able to defrag my hard drive C. I have
also tried to run the disk defrag program in safe mode.
When it is about 4% into the program I get the Message
Error ID No. DEFRAG0004. I looked in the support section

when i want to install win98 OS in my machine.
after boot check disk drive and copying setup win98
files. after restart machine cann't run & hang.
show a mesg  "disk boot sector is to be modified"

I am receiving the following message when on startup!
"Memory access violation in module kernel 32" I am locked
totaly out of the system, can't reinstall,  if any one can
help please do. Can not affort to refomat the HD

Anybody know anything about this error?
I'm getting it and don't want it :-(

My programs won't let me work them. I get a message that
says: Ran out of disk space. When I go to Settings>
Control panel> System> Performance, then it says I have
93% free.

i can not find my win 98 disk and i need a new one i am
installing a new sound card and it is asking for it help

   I have a 40 GB Hard Disk distributed in three
partitions. It is running on 98 SE. Whatever the Backup I
have few of the files are not shown in Drive E. There are
some files created (in ascii name)automatically, with file

I need to reboot my system with the WIN98 Disk.  I lost
original in a move.  How can I obtain a WIN98 System disk
to reboot my system

It reads cd fine, but it doesn't see it as a recordable
device. For instance it is not seen to be a recordable cd-
rom by Easy CD Creator or Windows Media player when trying
to burn a CD.

When my system (Win98 SE) boots up I recieve an
error...DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS
ENTER.
My system does not detect my Hard Drive during boot up

my laptop for whatever reason came with 2 'local discs' comprising the
total internal storage capacity. disc 'C' has the system software
installed on it ,is 2GB in capacity and is in the FAT 16 format. disc 'D' is
in FAT 32, 10GB space, and is basically empty right now. ...

I get this message when computer starts:
Disk Write Error
Unable to write to disk in Drive C
Data or files may be lost
