I installed windows 98 over windows95 and now when I start it up it just says the explorer has performed an illegal opperation. If problem persists contact the program vendor.

cant boot my 98 windows 2nd edition machine. went through and finally got scandiskto run. it says that the FAT (file allocation tables) are not identical,as they should be. also states that it can fix the problem but cant undo it
