I am upgrading to XP Home from 98SE.  I wanted to
partition the HDD for the op system.  But (since
I didn't really know what I was doing) fdisk ran
and now can't delete them w/ fdisk.  The c: drive

i have  a big problem,i'm getting some mstask.exe error

I have run into a problem today after running my Norton SystemWorks for its'
weekly checkup. It generated 20+ files with weird names like $_$$$$$$.$$.

corrupted.   It has worked for years, but now when I try
to re-install the system because of a suspected virus, I

I have a 400mhz Pentium II with 128MB of RAM running
Windows 98 SE.  The computer came with a 7.85GB hard drive
that is now full.  I recently installed an 80GB hard drive
and moved photo files, etc. to it but the original 7.85GB

I am trying to copy several floppies onto a hard drive.  I
am using 2 Explorer windows.  Copy from one window and
paste into the other.  After I copy the first disk and
insert the second disk (5 1/4, 1.2 MB) into the B: drive,
