The computer is running slow. Right clicking creates a long, long pause. CD rom will not open or eject. Icons move themselves on the desktop. Virus scan says there were no viruses found. Reinstalling Windows didn't help.

I'm unable to boot from my floopy drive after a reboot. I've checked in my bios and the boot seq is a then c. Since A is my floopy i figure it should boot but it reads the disk then continues to load windows normally.

Win98se crashed and took the 40 GB hard drive with it. Fdisk only showed the drive as 7 GB, even though the POST read it as 40 GB. Replacing the drive with an 80 GB Maxtor resulted in Fdisk

my cd drive doesnt work. it is detected in the computer, and the computer thinks it is functioning properly, even though it isnt. i put a cd in, then double click the "E:" drive icon and it says "not ready". it will do this
