I wish I could keep this short, but some description is
required.

I recently acquired a DVD burner so I decided to take my
CD burner (a TEAC CDW524E) to my parents and install it on
their computer, which is running Win98.  I know that the

The computer is running slow. Right clicking creates a
long, long pause. CD rom will not open or eject. Icons
move themselves on the desktop. Virus scan says there were
no viruses found. Reinstalling Windows didn't help.

I have an Exabyte Eagle Nest with removable Zip Drive.

I'm unable to boot from my floopy drive after a reboot.
I've checked in my bios and the boot seq is a then c.
Since A is my floopy i figure it should boot but it reads
the disk then continues to load windows normally.

Win98se crashed and took the 40 GB hard drive with it.
Fdisk only showed the drive as 7 GB, even though the POST
read it as 40 GB.

my cd drive doesnt work. it is detected in the computer,
and the computer thinks it is functioning properly, even
though it isnt. i put a cd in, then double click the "E:"
drive icon and it says "not ready". it will do this

My RW cd dick drive will not eject bu pushing the button
or by clicking on eject in properties.  If I restart the
computer it will eject bu only once per restart.  I had
