I was reinstalling Windows 98 to try and fix a display
problem I was having.  After it reinstalled my CD ROM
drive no longer shows up and my Zip drive is now called
my b: floppy drive.  Any suggestions would be GREATLY

I have a hp Pavilion with CD-Writer Plus with Windows 98.
The CD Rom Drive is blinking and I cannot read any disc.
When I try to use M:\ it states "not ready"

compatible with Windows 98 SE or better.  Can I upgrade to

I  installed a new hard drive in a system and installed Win98Se.   After
Windows was installed I shut the system down and installed a  NIC.  When I
turned the power switch on again the power light came on but the system will

ScanDisk uses the free cluster count, which excludes slack

my defrag will not run.  Every time I try to run it, the program stops and I am notified that I do not have enough memory to run defrag and to shut down all open programs (ID No: DEFRAG009).  I read some other postings here about problems with defrag and tried to shut everything ...

Disk defrag runs through the process but it only "defrags"

Trying to get my Outlook Express address book on an import
from my old HD onto my new one. Can't open it when I look
in application data on D: says 'cannot complete operation'
says the same thing when I try to import the .wab file.

    For some reason my Drive letters are mixed. My CDrom
drive which is D is reading my CDRW drive which is E.
When I click eject on my D drive my E drive opens up and
