I recently purchased a 4 port USB hub [cause my system only
has two and they are so close togeather that I can't use

When I try to install a software, an error message
appears : "temporary disc space is not enough".
My PC's OS is Windows98 and has logical drive 'C' and 'D'.

drive is recognized everywhere (bios, divice manager, my
computer). I have XP and 2000 on the master and 98 on the

Had to reload Windows 98 sec.edition and the works 2000.
Everything O.K. until WORD is being loaded. A demand for
an ID was made. This is usually on the reverse of the

I have 1,000,000 clusters on my hard drive.  Scandisk
finds bad clusters beginning at 833,000 to (so far, after
days of scanning) 853,000 and counting as we speak.
Formatting the disk doesn't work.  Stops at 833,000 (83%)

Attempts to backup onto a CD cannot be done with my
existing setup. Trying the optional choices for storage in
the Windows 98 Backup facility going for E drive location

I need to reinstall Windows 98, second edition.  I have my
original, purchased disk but no longer have my original
packaging which included the product key.  Without the
product key I am not able to reinstall using this disk.

I have a system running  98SE using a Maxtor 90340D2 4 GB hard drive.  I am
trying to add a second HD (Seagate ST340014A) which was removed from an XP
system and formatted with NTFS.
I installed the new drive on  the first plug on  the IDE data cable and

I have windows 98 and when I turn on the computer it will
not boot up.  The user manual suggest using a startup
disk to get the computer to boot, however, I do not have
a start up disk.
