I am unable to defrag my hard drive.  When i start the
process it is never able to complete the task.  It will
start, but continues to abort and start over.  The message
is: "Drive contents changed, starting over."

I have lost the use of my CD/DVD drive. Also I had
installed a CD burner right after Thanksgiving and it was
working fine. Now it doesn't even show that I have
installed it. Everything was working until about a week

system boots up but i am unable to load from my cd-rom to
load win 98. i tried switching over to boot from cd rom
first but i cannot get it to it so i can start my install
of win98 on to hard drive. and i do not have a boot disk.

it's my first time on a newsgroup, so I hope I'm doing
this right. I when I try to load a software cd on my cd -
rom I keep getting the message: " E:/ is not accessible.

When I reboot my computer it keeps saying selectdrive.exe

Strange thing just happened:  I was burning a CD of images
from a recent paddle trip using Nero and the CD-RW never
finished the burn.  Terminated via Ctl+Alt+Del and tried
