What is happening to my disk is a well known issue related to cluster size.
I'm not able to run scandisk on a 18.5 Gb HD of a Compaq Armada M700 laptop

i've tried to defrag my system in safe mode several times
i shut everything down, disk cleanup, scan disk (through
fix errors), then try to defrag. after 14% get
