I just formatted my c drive, and after I restarted the computer, it says I have a systems disk error, even though I have no disks in the computer. What should i do?

the cd, dvd door on my control tower will not open...is there anyway i can open the door with my computer without taking my control tower to a shop...i tried to use the eject button on the desktop but the door still did not open...

I am still having a problem with two C:\ drives. When I boot from the C:\ drive, all my programs and data files are there, but windows will not start. When I boot from A:\ with my start up disk another C:\ drive is present

I had a new hard disc put in and a few days later on boot up, got a black screen with a scrolling message, file allocation bad drive C. Scandisc (thorough) found nothing. Neither did SFC.

the disc defrag. will not go past o% no matter how long it runs. I have even deleted norton anti-virus and my screen saver is showing "none". This happens even after i check the drives for errors.
