MY HD is damaged and I need to replace it in a Win 98 machine. Does anyone know what hard drives I can buy that would replace this hard drive and be compatible with what is in the computer already?  I can go for more than the original 8.4G , but compatibility is the question. ...

Having problems loading Windows 98. Windows 98 starts to
load then switches off.
Prior to this problem I did a Quick Claen of the my

Looking for ideas, recommendations, etc.
I previously posted several days ago regarding my drive getting hosed
(Seagate 20gig Baracuda FAT32 on a Win98SE box).  The FAT or MBR got
corrupted somehow, where a few of the directories (like c:\windows) vanished

Replaced a crashed drive with a new one same size (40GB)
