I have just reinstalled windows 98 on my computer.  When
I go to display setting, it doesn't allow me to change
the 640x480 setting, and I only have 16 colors, or 2 as
an option.  Before the computer crashed I had 256 colors

I already know it works as a compression layer between the OS and the

My printer is sending an error message that it is unable
to start the spool manager.  According to Epson, the
problem is that some win98 files have been corrupted (they
may be right - I've also lost my beloved free cell!).  I

My Norton System Doctor gives me a percentage of
fragmatized disc; below 95% they say it's time to defrag.

My topic here is to discuss why microsoft does not implement the ability to
utilize at OS-Setup two disks as raid0/striping.
Yes I know, raid0 is not safe, or at least is just as safe a a 1-disk which
is the most popular solution for 99% of the users in the desktop computing.

 I used my boot floppy instead of a copy of it. Now it's
has a problem, do I need it to load 98? Where do I get a

the scandisk, disk defragmenter ,disk cleanup and disk
maintenance in the system tools are not working.  The
computer is very slow loading almost every program and
internet sites.  The internet options did work.  We get an
