Free disk Space Reported Error17 May 2004 23:54 GMT2
Randomly, my system locks up. Upon reboot, EVERY TIME it
says that "reported free disk space is in error".  
I have had this same prob. a few years ago on another
machine, but don't recall what the cause was.

What is the maximum size of an IDE HD under Win98SE?  I have seen something
about anything above 137 GB requires a controller card.  If this is the
case, what make/model of controller card is recommended and also, if there
is an upper limit, does partitioning to <137 GB partitions ...

I keep getting out of space message.
When I remove files or software from the drive, it shows
availble space.  However, as soon as I reboot, all space
vanishes.  I wonder if this is due to a virus?

system stuck on "checking for errors". It goes from 0% to
1% then back to 0% complete. why? What can I do to get it

W/98. I was printing a file in Excel. pc hung then froze.
I shutdown. when I booted back up the print job was still

I have an 80Gb HDD which is being recognised by the BIOS
but Win98 Fdisk only sees it as a 10Gb Drive.  How do I
get Win98 to regonise the full size of the drive?

my drive is a fat32 partition drive and im using win xip, when i right click
one of my folder and choose properties it says the size is 180MB but the
size on disk is 368, so basically it's 180MB but it took up 368MB of my hdd
space right??

I recently aquired this Toshiba Satellite 2180CDT. It has
