Can anyone tell me what the maximum size HDD that W98SE can format in FAT32 ? Is it 137GB ? If so, what happens if you install a larger HDD (200GB) and try to partition and format it ?

Is there a free utility I can use to do a ScanDisk on my Win98 partition? I have to run the utility while booted into XP (or DOS) because my Win98 partition will not laod.

Like the Subject line says; Windows 98 states my 20GB hard drive is only 2GB in size. I have re-formatted and fdisked the drive, checked the jumpers and even made sure that my PC's BIOS acknowledges that the drive is 20GB.

Hey everyone. I have a Dell Latitude CPt laptop and I installed Windows 98 on it. Everything's working, but the display is only about half the screen, and I can only get 16 colors. It won't let me make the screen any bigger.
