My computer is under an extended warranty with the
manufacture, not with Microsoft.  However, it has gotten
a viruse.  The computer will start to boot, when it gets
to WIN 98, there is errors.  I never made a start up disk

I have a libretto 50ct, with a removable pcmcia floppy
drive. I can use boot disks on a:\ in dos mode, but I
receive the "A drive not accessible" in windows. I can
find the floppy drive controller when in safe mode only,

I have a floppy disk that cannot be read and I want to
destroy the disk.  I have pulled apart the case and cut up
the film part of the disk.  Is the data stored on the film
only?  I was told not to touch the round disk in the

Recently my system became extremely unstable. I cannot run

compinsate for my new maxtor 80gb drive so it can make a
fat32 partition and use all 80gb. Fdisk reads my drive,

    I have a HDD with 16 physical heads according to the label
on the HDD.  When this HDD was installed, partitioned, formatted,
etc.,  a "Block Information" program shows this HDD has "128"
