I am trying to add a 5.25 and 3.5 in-one drive. I was able
to setup the BIOS. And in DOS mode I can access both
drives. But when in Windows 98 normal mode only the first
drive shows up under MYCOMPUTER. If I go to windows 98

When I am surfing on the internet, a few clicking sounds
come from my harddrive, and my PC freezes for a short

My problem concerns ScanDisk in Windows 98.
Every time I try to perform a Thorough (performs Standard test and scans
disk surface for errors); ScanDisk starts to scan and then after a while I
get a message saying something like: "ScanDisk has restarted 10 times

I installed a second hard drive, Fdisked it and formatted it. It seems
to work ok. Then I noticed that it took forever to copy a file to either
C or D (new drive) on the network. Then I found it also took forever to
copy a large file from D to C or vice versa. Any Ideas where to ...
