I just bought some video editing software. When I added
the hardware to my system, it asked for the Win98SE CD so
it could load the 1394bus.sys file. I bought this computer
used and Win98 already came on it, so i don't have the CD.

Opened file under wrong program, check mark was in block
stating "always open with this".  Have been unable to
revert back to correct program to open file with.  Under
an older computer program this Scan32 opens up MS Works

I have replaced the existing 8.4GB hard drive for an old
Tiny PC with an Excelstor 80GB drive.
I have obtained an excellent replacement BIOS which has
detected the 80GB hard drive in its entirety.

Hi - I have an ACOM Data external HD connected through a USB 2.0 hub -
the drive shows up in the Windows status bar but doesn't appear in
Windows Explorer.
I am using Win 98 2nd edition. Any help appreciated.

I recently purchased a second hard drive and installed
windows xp on it. I made my old hard drive, running
windows 98 se, the slave drive and booted up, hopping to
copy my old files to my new drive. Now it says my old

98SE - 4gig HD - <2gig used. Ran scan disk utility (full
scan). Defrag starts normally and runs to 100%, but the
100% comes before it has finished the disk. Ran it again
and the disk appears to have not been defragged

I have just bought the upgrading Windows XP version to
upgrade current windows 98 version. I facing the following
problems that I couldn't proceed to upgrade to windows XP.

Is it OK to add a 40Gb disk as the slave of the existing

Why, Well the first two are missing drivers that came on
it and after using it a while there missing. Ok, where is
the information going? Time after time when installing and

When windows detects LS120 it sets up 2 floppy icons
[A and B] in MY Computer. When I click on B it finds the
floppy drive and reads both LS120 and standard floppy
discs.
