I am running scandisk on a computer - of course I always get the warning 'Scan disk has stopped serveral times...' blah blah blah. Now of course I have left the room during this procedure in hopes it would complete...but no. This dialog window opens up and waits.

After booting up using Win98 the system seems to eat up resources quickly and then will not release them after exiting whatever programs seem to be hogging the memory, such as Norton's Security or Zonealarm, etc.... Is there a good utility to flush out ram and make those resources
