Just curious. Does the disk defragmenter in Win 98
overwrite the empty space on the disk when it defragments?
I know the defragmentation process reorganizes disk data
so everything gets put back in its place for more

I am trying to configure my daughters IBM laptop(given to
her by her grandmother/used)
for wireless internet and the wireless installation

Windows Explorer posts a dialog that says: Cannot delete
foo.exe: Access is denied. Make sure disk is not full or
write protected and that the file is not currently in use.
This isn't a Windows executable. It happens to be backup

For some reason, my C disk is suddenly full when
previously there was 1 GB of memory free.  The capacity on
this disk is 4.75 GB and it is saying I have used 4.7 (up
from 3.7 previously).  I haven't downloaded anything

My cd-rom drive was accidently deleted from my pc. How do
