My hard disk has 2 partition, C and D. But under My
Computer, it only shows C drive. How can I rectify this

I reformated my main physical Hardrive, and reinstalled
win98, the problem is however, that "My Computer" does not
show anything for my 2nd physical harddrive, that was
present before the formating and reinstallation.

I have an original copy of Win98 which I bought a few
years ago. I recently received an old fully functional
Pentium 3 (for nothing) which my son is using to learn
about PCs on.

After trying to install an ethernet card(unsucessfully)in
Win 98. I found that my CD rom drive was inacessable.  I
checked with the Device manager and it says the unit is
functioning properly. It has power and the tray moves in

I installed windowsXP and had problems with it, so I
reformated and went back to windows 98.In doing so I went
from 17GB to 1.99GB. Is there a way to fix it?

I had a win 98 computer and wanted to wipe it clean, but my a drive isn't
functioning so using a start up disk wasn't an option.
I inserted my win 98 cd and did the fdisk which asked me what to do with
partitions. I chose to delete the partition with tons of info on it and

I have Windows 98 SE and it only see my Memorex 52MAXX
2452AJ (cd-RW) made March 2003 as a regular CDROM.  I have
searched all over for a driver so this will work, any

My Windows 98 SE disk has a crack in it and will not read.
The support site will not accept my PID. Is there anyway I

I need help fixing a computer.  I try to open start menu
and my computer icon and the computer freezes.  I push
ctrl+alt+delete and it show that Explorer is not
responding.  What is wrong and how do I fix?

Anyone know why I would be getting this message in Windows 98?
I get the message on any floppy disk I try to use in normal Win98 mode.
The floppy drive works fine when I'm in 'safemode', or 'Booting' from it on
