I have windows 98 SE. When I start Scan Disk "C", the
following appears:  "Scan Disk has restarted 10 times
because Windows or another program has been writing to this
drive.  Quiting some running programs may enable Scan Disk

I have windows 98 OS.When i switch on my sysytem,the scandisk starts
automatically and detects bad sectors in the c drive.should the bad sectors
be compulsorily removed.if so how?kindly give me suggestions.

I deleted a game and associated unrecognized programs off

My winipcfg.exe is corrupted and I can not get beyond the
desktop.  I have a start up disk, but can not find my

I can't get win98 to start even in safe mode because it
says "Invalid page fault at explorer.exe  ..."

I really hope someone can help me.  My OS is Win98.  It
freezes continually causing me to shut down manually.

I reinstaled windows 98 on my computer and now the 31/2
drive A reads 5 1/4 and won't work. I went into bios and
changed it to 31/2 For A and no B dive and saved it and
restarted the computer. It still reads 5 1/4 and hangs up
