I have windows 98se on my desktop and xp on my laptop.  On
the laptop I have to put in a password after bootup to
proceed on to windows. I think it is called a harddrive
lockout password.  Is there anyway I can configure my 98se

i need to reformat my drive because my 32gb partition is
missing but i have lost my product key the person who made
my computer gave me 3 windows 98 disks so i have one key
and dont know what disk it is for key starts with x06

Last night I downloaded the Windows 98 updates and
installed them this morning.  Now I can't see my CD-rom
drives.  The computer acts like they aren't there.  I
tried detecting plug and play devices, but to no avail.
