Can someone tell me if the iiupgn.exe file is a virus or is it something required by WIN 98? I keep removing it from the computer startup and it keeps coming back. My up-to-date Nortons doesn't see it as a virus and none of the spyware software is catching it.

Dear MS Customer Support! I would like to convince You to enhance support for esdi_506.pdr IDE driver, becouse all current Intel based PC systems (chipset 865/875/915/925 with 48Bit BIOS suport) has controllers which use esdi_506.pdr driver to handle IDE drives.

I am tryiong to load internet onto pc running Win 98 however i receive an error message saing please copy APSS.INF from my windows set up disk... however have searched my set up disk and there is no APS.INF on there please advise.

In C:windows, I find that I have many (too many to count) files with names like "fffe062e-[8185A901-88DD-11D8-9673-00A02481D1EC}"; when I click properties, they show as TMP files. can I delete them?

Running Wni 98 HArd Disc designation is removable disc, and internet security won't load onto it as it says it is removable. It isn't it is the hard drive . What do I do to change it so these programs recognise it as the hard drive.

Hi. I'm considering a new larger HD, and I understand Win98 has issues with HD's as large as what I need. I'm hoping to buy a 160 GB drive. Some of what I've read says I'll only be able to use 137 GB of it, right? So is that a limit for the drive, or can I get around it
