just put in a 20Gb hard drive on a 7 year old toshiba laptop.  chose all the
correct yes and no's for a HDD greater than 512Mb. but shows only the c
drive as around 7.36Gb.  where did i go wrong?

My scandisk (win98se) does not start on boot when I do an "illegal"
shutdown. In msdos.sys, the line Autoscan is already enabled, but scandisk
does not start...
Any ideas???

Qick synapsis.  I deleted a file with Quick clean that when windows
