   I removed a 750 meg hdd from a computer, which was partitioned into two
logical drives  (520 meg and 230 meg).  I installed it in a 1988 Compaq 386
computer with Dos 6.22.  Bios can not "see" above 520 meg, therefore I
can not access the 230 meg partition.  Is it possible to use ...

This problem is really baffling me.  I have two hard drives on the primary
controller both set as master, and I select ( via a DIY power switch) which
one I want to use before boot up.  One has win xp, and the other has win
98se. On the secondary controller I had dvd-rom as master, ...

When I click on  START/ SHUTDOWN /SHUTDOWN   the machine will do a
warm reboot + not shutdown with " soft off " as usual.
Just started doing it recently.

I just purchased a system with Windows XP PRO. My local HD is NTFS. I also
purchased an ADS USB 2.0 Drive kit to be able to use the 30 gig hard drive
from my previous computer that crashed.
Now, the hard drive from the My crashed computer had Windows XP Home for
backup error message01 Feb 2005 02:13 GMT2
While trying to restore my old backed up files, stored on a cd, the win98
backup wizard starts, reads and locates the file then after a few secounds
gives me an error message "The current media does not contain any backup
sets. The operation will be canceled" I looked everywhere ...
