Help - I compressed some external zip disks. My hard drive crashed and W98

Drivespace, which I need to uncompress and access the compressed zip disks.

I had been experimenting in a frenzy of copying, changing, and activating

hung: I had to power off which caused scandisk to run on bootup.
Somewhere along the way System Time got hosed, probably by a W98 ...

I have this old computer to which I just restored Windows 98 from the HP
restore disks.  I think it is NOT Second Edition, since it says Microsoft

I need Win 98 Second Edition so my Netgear MA111 wireless adapter will work.

I put a new 80GB WD UDMA-5 hard drive into my old Intel 430TX UDMA-2 chipset
board and am running Windows 98SE.  The DMA checkbox (in Device Manager)  in
98SE won't stay checked on this new drive.  The DMA checkbox  does remain
checked on my CD-RW, and the other old 3GB drive.

How do I get Windows 98 SE to recognize the current 2nd hard drive (D:) after
installing a new C:\ drive?
I exchanged a 5GB C:\ drive for a 120 GB C:\drive.  The new drive is
formatted, Win 98SE is loaded; it appears to be working OK.  It has FAT32.
