I am running Win98se and am planning to add a multichannel ATA raid controller with 8x250gb drives as a single JBOD array. I am trying to determine whether the known FDISK and/or FORMAT limitations of 137gB will come into play here.

I sucessfully ran a backup and then I ran a differential BU to BU only changed files. This prompted the question "do you wish to overwrite dataset?" or similar. I have now come to restore the files only to find ONLY the new files listed.

New to this so please excuse me if I ask silly questions. I just installed a second hard drive into my Gtaeway computer which is running 98SE. It is a Samsung 80Gig drive. I did the partitioning and format and I only got 32 gig.

"*.RBO" is known as a worm extension. When I type in "*.RBO" to find files with this extension I get no files found eventhough there are many files with that extension. Thanks

I would like to ask you, is it possible to create a file, that is bigger, then 2GB under Windows98, using FAT32 file system? My problem is, i would like to create a 2.6GB DVD image. I tryed to mount the FAT32 partition under Linux, but i can't go over 2GB.

I used to have two cd roms on my 98 (not se) machine. Now I have only one. It works just fine, (I can read/write). However, I also have a problem in making a new boot disk. And it wants some file that is not on the hard drive. So it asks for the original 98 cd. The problem ...
