I bought a used Seagate Medallist 8641 St38641A 8 GB hard drive on
ebay.
I installed it in a Compaq Presario 5204 desktop machine. Partitioned
it with Seagate's latest edition of Disc Wizard on two floppies made

I lost my boot disk for Win98 Millenium.
How do I get a new one.  I have lots for Win98SE.  But I believe they won't
work (fully) for the Millenium version??
Anyone please?

Running Windows XP (SP2) and still using Partition Magic 7.0 (with an
update or two) and Drive Image 2002. No problems yet, but I realize
eventually I'll need to jump to another product.
I'd like to know, if possible, consensus as to best current mainstream

   I am a heavy user of USB flash drives such as the Lexar
"Jump Drive" 1G and 2G types.   I use these to transfer stuff from one
computer to another, then delete (clear) the flash drive for more stuff.
  What is the life span of a USB flash drive (example 1000 re-writes)?

I have a fully updated Win2k system with multiple hard drives and
network shared drives.  After drives, partitions & shares I have drive
slots N, P, V, W, Y & Z available.  When the USB card reader with 3 USP
ports is added it is assigned N, P, V & W which works just fine.  The

Well, I bought a 250GB Seagate hdd (Pata) to make it my new boot device
(on a Athlon Xp 2000, Kudoz motherboard, 768MB Ram - my Bios recognize
correctly new boy's size). On my current boot (and only) hdd I've got 4
Fat32 partitions, with 98SE on C: and XpPro on D:

I am trying to help someone over the phone who has some technical ability
with his 2 WIN98 (???SE) PC's. Unfortunately I have not used WIN 98 for a
very long time. His problem is that his Logitech PS2 mouse has stopped
working on PC #1. It works on other machines and it appears ...
