   I have three computers that developed problems with reading floppy disks.
Note: This problem occurred at a different time for each computer.
   What is the most common problem with floppy disk drives?

I am going to be reinstalling microsoft 98 on a friends computer the
only thing is I have a genuine cd, BUT, I have lost the cd key for it.
Does anyone know if i could do it without or how to get hold of one.

I see so many people looking for Windows 98 on Floppys. I managed to
get my hands on a set a long time ago and I used winimage to make a
image file of each disk in case they ever got corrupted. It took me
forever to find a set, My friend used to have it on floppy, and I

HAVE A PC THAT DO NOT HAVE A FLOOPY DRIVE. DO ANY KNOW HOW TO MAKE A CD BOOT
DISK WITH CD ROM SUPPORT.

I want to set up new portable hard drive for both use with my main
W2K-Pro computer and my old laptop which runs W98SE.  I am aware that
W98 does not support NTFS so I have always used FAT32 as my file system
despite its disadvantages.

The directory tree in Windows Explorer has been renamed for some reason. I
think a scandisk operation caused it. I have replaced C:\My Documents by
creating a new folder and downloading my files from the server.....creating
a new directory tree for my documents.
