I have been given an hp computor with win me.
there are no start up disks with the unit
I want to install win 98se. hp support site no longer
provides drivers for win98. any suggestions ?

   Thanks to all that have replied with wit and wisdom. Don't always get

Each time the Microsoft 2000 icon is right clicked &
opened my cursor freezes and Word 2000 does not open.I can

For a short while I had PC set up for more than one  user.
In "Users", in control panel, I deleted all users.
But I know have a users box come up when windows starts which I have to
click on cancel. No user choice there, but the box has to be negotiated.

I have reloaded my computer that I made from parts, with
Windows 98, and I see the PCI System Management Bus entry
under Other Devices in Device Manager needs a driver. How
do I resolve this? I can't find a driver for it

I am trying to change the label or name of a cd from 031128_1025 to a new
name of  Links_Vol_4. Each time I go thru the process of
Mycomputer/D:/properties/ and then type in the new label name and then click
on apply, a dialogue box appears that says, could not set the volume label
