In the process of changing my screen color my control
panel now shows only folder icons (no folder names) and
I'm unable to type a URL in my explorer box.
And...I'm now unable to open attachments in e-mail, I get

Norton Antivirus discovered a virus and quarantined the
file winset.exe.  When Windows 98 loads, I receive a
message that the file winset.exe is not found.  I don't
have the Windows 98 operating system CD.  How can I get a

I'm running Win98SE on my computer and a reg. cleaner i
was running, totaly screwed up my register.  I cant get my
virus Protection to work, and several other things have
error messages.  I have a bunch of dll's missing and am

Hi, my parents computer is having some problems on startup.
It has an intermittent hang sometimes, with some vertical
lines at the top part of the screen, just before the login
prompt appears. After a few reboots the pc then operates

my browser. For awhile, I've been getting the same error
when shutting down my pc:
CPQDFWAG caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown>
