If I use ie and then close ie, my start button fails to work (does nothing), windows explorer will not initiate, and I cannot restart ie. Other programs seem to work just fine.

I have a win98 machine here that doesn't update windows explorer when you put a new cd in the drive. Im not sure if this is normal as i didn't really get into ibm compatible stuff until about ME.

My system hangs when I try a normal boot. When I do a step by step boot, my computer hangs at the msmouse.vxd file. What do I do? HELP

My daughters Gateway has been set up for several users, not just one. When left clicking the 'START' button, the pop-up menu shows a 'LOGOFF' command but does not show a 'RUN' command.

In a response to someone else, Hugh Candlin directed a poster to "computerhope". Curiously I followed, and ended up downloading DriverGuide Toolkit for which it listed all of my drivers and then appeared to find only one that required an update (listed in red).
