My EXE file extensions don't open, they ask for a program to open27 Nov 2003 01:34 GMT1
Hey.  I was trying to fix my computer and used .exe as an
example file extension.  Then it was't working so I
deleted that file extension.  Now any program (.exe) files
have no icon and when i double click them, the window pops

I am using 98se and had a power outgage, and now the
computer won't boot.  I get a "Non system boot disc
failure" message.  I tried to boot with the 98se startup
floppy and get a "Error reading drive" message.  I tried

While cleaning up after SWEN I inadvertantly deleted
lkzarsj.exe.
This appears to be necessary to run related programs
including the CD drive to reinstall or fix Windows 98

Bonjour!
I have several windows98 that have the same problem. Just
after getting into windows, it finds unknown devices and
appears to find 3 of them. Go into device machine after,

it doesn`t matter what I open then click"properties".it
still takes about 3 or 4 minutes to open.

Hello - I hope someone can help me with this problem:
- I do not know what I did, but now I have a toolbar with the
contents of one of my folders from the desktop.  I can change its
size, somewhat, but I cannot eliminate it, which is what I want to do.
