im using win 98 and cant see graphics on my webpages,all
i get is white boxes with an x in  can anyone help?

When I run a batch file on W98 it runs all the command lines in the
file at the same time (pretty much), whereas the same file run under
XP waits for each program to finish before starting the next.
How can I make W98 behave like XP ?

Is it possible to have favorites saved in this folder
without my knowledge?  I recently discovered that there

I've got a Windows98SE laptop that's been improperly restored after a crash.
The applications are recent, but the C:\windows folder is 8 months behind
the rest of the directory structure. I've re-installed existing programs
with SOME improvement.

I am running win98se. I recently installed a 8424 Yamaha CDRW and it
recognized it fine.  But it wont format or burn discs.  I updated the
software from yamaha and it said burn engine not detected (or recognized).

I want to be able to lock my computer when not at home so
that my children cannot get onto the computer without
supervision.  Can I use a password to lock my computer?
