Haven't been here for a long time....just came back and I see that the
earliest post I can get is on 30 Septemer, and only 12,125 messages (from
news.microsoft.com). Has this NG been trimmed?

I just upgraded my compuer and installed the same win 98

I was trying to install Tiger Woods 2004 I just bought

On occassion, Windows Explorer will slow down to a crawl if not freeze up
totally. This usually occurs after moving many files and folders or deleting
them. Short of rebooting, is there a way to prevent or correct his behavior?

I just got Win98 SE and the date keeps saying 2019. I change it to 2003
but every time I restart is still says 2019 and tells me my AntiVirus
update is 5800+ days overdue.
The person who installed it put in "Atomic Clock" so I uninstalled that

I went into Internet Explorer tonite to change some of the
settings.  I clicked on "Tools" and then "Options" and
received a message that says:  "This operation has been
cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.

When I startup the computer (Windows 98), the computer
goes through the normal procedure, but I never get to my
desktop, it just goes straight to the screensaver, and
when I move the mouse, or hit the keys, nothing happens.
