When i tried to start my computer i get abox that says
file sirC32.exe cannot be found...I cannot open my regedit
or anything else...Please help...

My pc will not restart. It shuts down fine, but when
restarting, after an update or just for the heck of it, it
hangs at the ¨windows is shutting down screen¨ If I hold

What is the max amount of ram I can have on Windows 98. I
recently bought an additional 512mb (total 1gb) and my
video display card will not work correctly. (NVidia

I want to open a Word file from the desktop so that it not
only opens the Word progam and the specified file, but at

I have a Compaq Presario 7360 and I had a bad crash. I had

computer. Now it says I have to be an administrator to

I am trying to enter this line in ms-dos 'Isnrctl start'
But I know nothing about ms-dos.
When I type it I get an error message that says 'bad
command line'

"quick view" is not available under "views".  I tried to add and remove
prorammes in control panel and this item is not availabe anywher.  any

When starting up, first I get a prompt to "continue in #5
Prompt mode" and told to run Scandisk becase of an error
in the registry/configuration files.
When I run Scandisk it reports back saying cannot read

Every start up I get "Windows cannot find Companion.exe
shortcut" message box.
