Two days ago, when I booted up, the toolbar at the top of
the screen which includes the buttons and arrows for Back
and Forward and Refresh had completely disappeared.    I
rebooted, but the toolbar hasn't come back.  It's driving

Can this card be supported by Windows98se? The
manufacturer says yes, but I can't find any drivers and
none are included on the installation disk (only
NT/XP/2000).

I have a 2yr. old gateway solo 2550 notebook  with a FPD,
TFT. The screen flickers slightly but gets worse and worse
till the entire screen goes pure white. I have a CRT
hooked up at the same time and the CRT has none of these

When I am working crossword puzzles or jigsaw puzzles, I
sometimes get a pop-up screen that is blank except for the
word, "Close", on it.  I am unable to continue.  When I
push the button, "Close", I am taken back to my desktop.

White Dialog Box has poped up with the Error Message as

I have a PC here that for some reason, after the network
login, will boot to a PROGRAM MANAGER window instead of
bringing up the desktop.
The Program Manager window is blank (no icons inside the

All of a sudden Hotmail is "permanently blocking" all
attachments as "potentially dangerous" on my incoming mail
as well as the attachments previously received and scanned
for viruses.  I am no where near "capacity" on my hotmail

I am receiving this error when trying to start Solitaire
using Windows 98. I searched Microsofts knowledge base.
The only thing I could find was a possible conflict with
AOL or Yahoo instant messenger shortcuts.  Neither of

I'm working on an older machine and had to replace a few
components, ie; the original disk controller also
included the comm and lpt ports. I replaced that with a
controller that only has ide connections, which work fine.

I have received and down loaded several documents
identified with the Microsoft Logo.  When I try to open
them I can't find the symbol on the "Open With" drop down
screen.How do I open those documents?

my pc will reboot itself when I try to shut it down.
The desktop disappears and then just before powering off
the pc restarts.  The only way I can shut it down is by
uppugging it

Since yesterday, the bar at the top of my screen with the
Forward, Back and directional arrows, and Refresh, has
completely disappeared off my screen.  Trying to work
without Forward, Back and Refresh is a nightmare.  Does
