saying
fntldr.exe could not run or load from specified file
in "win.ini"

I keep getting a a script error message using IE when
going to another page. The error in the display box says
that winnew or popunder and others are null. Help

Since I re-installed Win98se Dial up Networking seems very slow
verifying user name and password and doesn't show "dialling 1st of 5
attempts" as it did before. Is there anything I can do to either DUN
and/or Networking to get the old speed back?

The problem with Windows 98 is that even if we created
specific user accounts in a particular PC, users that do
not have authorization to use that PC can still access
it.  These unauthorized users can merely click on

Hello, I hope someone can help me with this. I purchaced
a JVC MiniDv camera and the software that came with it. I
will be as brief as I can. I loaded the software to allow
the camera to hook up via USB. When I loaded the software

my brother had to do a hard reboot on the pc.  then all of
sudden, when the computer rebooted there were no startup

I am attempting to run Alohabob's PC Relocator on my Win98
PC and keep receiving the message:

I can be on and off line when I get this message in a blue

I get an error message when I start up my computer. I am
running Windows 98. I just close the message and go on.
But, my system has never been right sence this started.

from the microsoft support website, and immediately on
rebooting, I get fatal exceptions ( 0028:C001545A ) and

having probs with pc and have found missing dll files,
which i have downloaded from net, and have saved them
to "my documents" but am unable to open them, i just
receive "Return code: 80070570
