Have Soyo SY-K7VTA Pro Motherboard which has USB 1.1 on
board.  I disabled the on-board USB in Bios, purchased
Belkin 2.0 PCI board, installed drivers, installed board,
all OK in Device Driver - plug in External USB Hard Drive

I cannot get the diplay options to believe that the monitor can do 256 colors. It only offers sixteen colors not the 256. There is not a separate disk or cd-rom for the monitor, and windows swears that it is using the best driver possible

Seeking advice on saving Win98 as on computer. Since all the patches
are applied, as I understand, when you backup in windows certain files
are not backup. So, what are some ways to backup ALL of Win98, then
restore in the event of problem using windows so you'd be back to

Getting "Error Starting Program" "A required DLL file,

I connect vis dsl and when I shut down, I get a pop-up
messaging saying one (or sometimes several) users are
connected to my pc.  I once had file-sharing software
loaded, but uninstalled it all.  

A folder with no name has popped up in My Computer.  
Cannot delete it.  Tried Microsoft's 2 solutions to

First time user - sorry for any lapses in etiquette.
I recently installed a trial version of an image manager. It was OK,
but I decided not to keep it. I uninstalled it and now find I can't
bring up any images at all. I assume the original files for doing this
