I am getting an error message saying that my urlmon.dll
file is corrupt.  i can no longer cut and paste nor run
certain programs.  does anyone know how to fix this

I should add that this only happens when I try to make a
NEW Folder ..bit map image...short cut... ect either from
a menu click on the desk top or from NEW folder on the
tool bar of IE...

I'm using Windows 98 in a Dell Dimension XPS 233s.  I do
not have a WIN 98 CD.  I need to make a startup disk.  Is
there a way?

I have a new Microsoft Multimedia Keyboard to install but wondered if I
should uninstall the existing software before installing the new one. The
documentation that came with the keyboard makes no reference to this.

I have until very recently been able to view my files in Explorer using the
View - Details option
Now when I select this option I am met with a blank screen but the vertical
bar knows there is something there as it is displayed.

I'd appreciate any suggestion or advise. I'm a novice
PC'er and I'd like to make Win98 work better. I'm on a

If you just reinstalled Windows, or you cannot change to 256, 16 bit, or 32
bit color, you probably need to reinstall your video card drivers.
To reinstall your video card drivers, you need to know the exact make and
model of your video card in order to install the correct/updated ...

when I change the color display from 16 to 256 and restart
the computer it's always back to 16 bit.  How do I make it
stay on 256?
