My display adapter cannot find any free Input/Output
Range.  It says free up I/O range from another device.
I don't know what this means.

I am having problems with opening and closing directories in Windows98
Second Edition.  For directories that haven't been open for a while,
they open very slowly and close very slowly.  This is the same for new
directories just created.  However all files and programs open fine

How can I know if it is safe to delete a file?  I have
some .exe and .dll files that I think are causing me
problems, but I don't want to jack my machine by deleting
them.  Any ideas?

A "friend" decided to upgrade to XP and delete win98.  Now
all the computer does is come up with installing Win98 and
asking for the codes - no longer have the details, just
the disc, what do I do?

I bought a Kodak DX4530 and the Kodak 4000 Easy Share
printer dock. I had to install the Kodak Easy Share
software first. After installing I must reboot and get the
following messages on restarting:

When I click in the margin in order to scroll down a full
screen, it scrolls about a page and a half. It happens on
all pages, whether it's a web page in Explorer or a local
file. I've never experienced this before in the many years

After finding my Win98se won't shut down, found the
problem after troubleshooting to be in Config.sys line:
<c:\dos\emm386.exe ram>.  After disabling the line,
windows shut down OK.  I suspect the line was put in after

ok here's the thing. My computer has been screwing up for the longest
time. I've been having trouble with internet explorer, but here's the
big issue: It won't even start! My sister says that she was online and
it froze, so she restarted it. When she did she got this

ok when i insert a CD, the autorun doesnt work, n then
when i go to start n then select RUN and enter the given
information, it says the file is not accessible... ANy one
who can help, please do so!

The minimixe,restore and close boxes are not visable. The
boxes are striated and somtimes just black. Any assistance

I removed a scanner from my pc and after that all my jpg
files had no extention (.jpg).  I cannot view or use any
of the .jpg files.  Please help.

I need your help once again gents! Last week my c.d rom
unit has stopped reading. Regardless of what cd I put
in ,program or other it only recognizes everything as an
audio cd and opens up either Music Match or real player.I

Can anyone give any advise on how to recover deleted
folders and contents (not in deleted bin).  Cheers
