I'm getting this message when I turn on my PC
'operating system not found on any devices'
Can anyone help me out in correcting this problem

About two weeks ago, I noticed that on a periodic basis my
cursor and keyboard wouldn't respond to inputs for about
four or five seconds.  This happens roughly every five
minutes or so and doesn't look like it's keyed to running

I have tried everything and once my system goes through
it's normal loading, the keyboard does not work.  I am
sure that in screwing around, my kids have removed a

version of Windows 98 SE on CD. When I try to upgrade
Windows 98 with the Windows 98 SE CD,I get a message
saying that the installation will not support my version

When I atempt to download files from the internet the page
becomes blank, the bottom left will say "Done", and there
is always a small icon in the upper left hand corner that
when I check properties on same indicates the it is a

My grandson's pc is on the blink.
When you try to do a start-up you get the No Operating System message.
It won't boot up; I used my W98SE boot disk and I can see the Windows folder
and a bunch of files, so I think it's still there.

I have been getting this error message for the past week.

is it possible to pull this out of w2000 somehow or must
it be obtained form win 95/98 startup disk.  why can't
create a startdisk from later operating systems?
