When ever I boot up my machine, I get the message:

How do I replace this missing file into my system?

I used Acronis True Image 6.0 to make an image of my hard drive.  I
did this by creating the image in a folder of the hard drive and then
copied the image to a CD-R.  Will this produce a reliable image if I
ever have to use it?

On my msconfig-startup programs, the first item checked,
has a blank name and blank command. It is also the top
item on the list of startup programs. Should I disable
this nameless program, or does it even exist?

Since a year, at least, many times a day my windows98SE
explorer is breaking down with the well known error
message ": Explorer: This program has performed an illegal
operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists,

I just reinstalled 98SE and then added all the updates (saved from years
past) but didn't intall them in the correct order.  Now my extended
partition and slave drive doesn't show.  Windows update doesn't detect
anything.

Anyone got ANY tips at all (preferably that don't cost as I'm skint!) for
getting the damn PC's to be silent? (sorta like a silencer).... I've got 2
PC's next to me, one's an AMD Athlon Firebird 700, the others a P350 (I
know, I know), and the damn things are as loud as hell ...

The problem I am haveing is one program i want to use i
cant because it requires .net framwork 1.1 and when i try
to install .net i get this message. Setup cannot access
windows installer components. set up cannot continue.

i have windows 98se installed, and was wondering if i could
install another copy of it in another folder or maybe on
another hard drive?
