I am currently running win98.  I would like to upgrade to
win 98 second edition.  I can't seem to find anyway to do
this.  I have a win 95 to 98se upgrade disk but it doesn't
say anything about upgrading from 98 to 98 se.

I have a IBM Clone with Windows 98se. I Athlon 1.0
motherboard.
What my issue is. This past week i had to remove a 20.5
Western Digital Hard Drive. In my system it was D: Drive.

I have an old HP pavillion computer(8570c).  I have a
flash drive that works on all of my work computers, which
are more modern, but not on my home computer.  Is my USB
driver out-of-date?  Can I do anything to fix this?  I

I have recently bought an ipod, which only works with
windows 2000 service pack 4 or later. I am currently
running windows 98 from my PCG F190 Sony Vaio, with
pentium II processor. The VAIO has 96.0MB RAM and 5.57 GB

I don't know what/how it happened but I can't get into any
of the applications in my control file. Error message for
everything is "Access denied".  I can't change time, I
can't add/delete programs....I am ready to reload

pick up a used laptop, need to change name to my name.

i went into my system and deleted a file from my hard
drive and now it will not let me on the net or displays
an error message when starting up  the message is
   a required .dll file,ltdis11n.dll was not found

Rec'd note I had the above virus...jdgb.exe  Followed
procedures to delete it only to find out it was a hoax.  
I understand this is part of the system and is used with
Java I think.  How do I go about restoring the bear?

The taskbar on my computer doesn't work anymore.  It's
still there, but nothing shows up no matter what program I
go into, so it is always blank.

Exactly what happens in Article 306482 except the PC won't
boot into Safe Mode.

Can't get into safe mode so restored registry to replace

I may have deleted the USB driver.  Nothing functions that
is plugged into the port.  Can I download a replacement
for the missing driver?

When choosing VIEW/DETAILS, I can no longer see the file
or folder names. The names appear in all 3 other views.

can anyone help me get out of Safe Mode in Windows 98?

Running Windows 98---all of a sudden my computer , as it
starts up , goes immediately to a safe mode screen.  No
other windows pop up telling me what's wrong---just a
grey screen with SAFE MODE showing in all four corners.
