I tried to use the Aida32 download  to tell me about my PC - unfortunately my pc always hangs when it scans devices. Is there any other way of finding out the information you require to help me reload my video card?

Running an AMD-K6-500, 128MB RAM, with AOL v. 5.0 . . . couple of weeks ago
started having problems accessing anything outside of the AOL "shell?".  Can
sign on, send and receive e-mail, however any AOLlink/e-mail hyperlink, or
http:// address to the Internet comes up with a page ...

i need to load some hareware which require win98 disc.

An uninstaller has taken the registry entries for the .ico, .ani, and
.cur file types with it so that these files are displayed with
Windows' default icon. This is on 98SE. Would anyone be so nice to
export the (six?) relevant HKCR entries and post the result here?

I upgraded from win. 95 to win. 98 and now the PC wakes
up at midnight. I put it to sleep but it will always wake
up at mignight. How do I stop that?

I'm using Windows 98 SE with Internet Explorer v.6, and
when I right-click on my desktop (or inside Windows
Explorer) the "New" command is unavailable in the context
menu. Furthermore, in Windows Explorer when I click on

Very often when I start internet connection the following
message shows up: "A required.DLL file..... was not found".
What does that mean?  Something's wrong?
