I just installed a Samsung 191T 19" as the new primary monitor on
my system. For now I'm using it in analog mode with my existing
card, a Matrox G400 dual head. I must say that the install went
unbelievably easily.

I have been having trouble making my phone connection. I
have a HP Pavilion with Windows 98. When I try to connect
I get the message of no dial tone. If I keep trying after

i have been given this computer.  It comes up with the
error message spool32 has perfomed an illegal operation,
programme will now close.  In details it says that spool32
has caused an error in spool32.exe.

After loading new encyclopedia software last night I am
getting the above error message. I was able to start Win98
in safe mode and remove the software but when try to start
Win98 again the error message occurs again. I checked the

I have a problem when copying a CD. The copy won't play
in my computer but will play in my CD player in my car. I

A friends network card attached to there computer does not
appear to be working, it can't see any other computers in

My 5 yearold did something to crash my computer.  It
crashed with Taxcut software window open.  Now, whenever

In the "old days" I could use the DOS DIR | command
to send a folder of file names to a text file in order
to make a printed list of directory contents. But that
was with 8.3 filenames. What do I do now? I have a folder
