I have Windows 98 and cannot RUN "services.msc" to stop
them. In CONTROL PANEL I don't have a ADMINISTRATIVE
SERVICES Icon to click on. What can I do to stop these
popups. I have had 4 come up in the time it took me to

None of these functions work in Windows 98.
Copy Cut Paste, either within documants or at the file
level.
The send to function does not work either.

I have a shortcut for Wordpad on my Office toolbar.  I would like
the default directory for it to be my desktop.  On the Properties
window for the shortcut, I set Start in to C:\WINDOWS\Desktop, but
it always opens with the current directory "C:\WINDOWS\My

I noticed RIGHT hand side is BLANK. I tried all topics I

I recently lost the command to create new folders.  It is

I'm using Win98 and previously had a multiboot system with XP. I've since
deleted the awful XP, but still have the boot.ini file left for the primary
partition (on which Win98 resides), giving the choice of OS at startup. I
know I can't just delete it, as that just leaves me in DOS, ...

I did a file search for msasn and found msasn1.dll on two of my

Have a HP Pavillion 4540, with 433MHz Celeron, 64Mb RAM.
Running Windows 98SE.  I got the CD from Microsoft to
upgrade my Internet Explorer to 6.0 SP1.
I ran the update, and when the PC rebooted, it fails to
